2010 Winter Olympic Torchbearer

Kaitlyn had the honor of carrying one of the world's most famous symbols of peace and unity as a torchbearer in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Canada. Kaitlyn represented herself, her community, the state of Florida, her country, and most importantly every teenager as she ran with the torch.

CongressionalGold Medalist

Kaitlyn earned the Congressional Gold Medal which is an award bestowed by the United States Congress, the highest civilian award receivable in America. U.S. Congressman John Mica celebrated Kaitlyn's three-year commitment for initiation, service, and achievement in Washington D.C.

AeropostaleReal Teen

America selected Kaitlyn and seven other "real teenagers" to be a 2010 Aeropostale Real Teen. She became the face and spokesperson for the Aeropostale clothing store. Kaitlyn embodied the qualities of an extraordinary teen working to making a difference through her actions.
